One gateway for Planet Roo, two walk up kaleidoscopes, and two hanging glow tunnels - designed, built, and installed for the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. An aggressive summer project for 2017, but a success for a festival full of high fives and good vibes.
The Challenge: Create 3 different art installations in 1 Summer.
Our gateway was a landscape piece meant to reflect the natural setting of The Farm. This gateway greeted incoming festival goers to the 'Planet Roo' area. Our lighting installations lived in metal containers beneath The Tower. Custom reflective boxes using a high-tech LED wall were built to create the infinite effect of kaleidoscopes. A low-tech piece with hanging LED tube lights provided subtle glowing colors for a calming effect.
